Logistics Team (Dec 2013 - Nov 2015)
TL;DR: Working in the Logistics team as part of a growing team at Flipkart, it was a unique experience to see a 15 member team grow into an organisation supporting lakhs of customers
I have contributed to the architecture
I worked in Logistics/LastMile team. Our team was responsible for building applications for Field Executives inside the hubs and outside delivering items to customers. Our team was the last Customer touch point during the life cycle of an order. We were the one of the guardians for Customer eXperience.
Logistics/Last Mile Team
- I have knowledge of end to end systems in Logistics across both 3PLs and Ekart Logistics
- Worked on new feature requirements as well as refactoring and re-designing operations facing UIs along with the backend code
- Mentoring and training new team members on domain knowledge, tools and processes
- Worked on integrating logistics data into the inhouse OLAP system
- Worked on on-call issues dealing with database issues, training team members on how to debug and identify issues in the system
- Made a dashboard in Backbone.js to display metrics, VIP statuses, dashboard which is being used to identify issues across the system
- Driven the effort to identify the issues that exist cross team across Accounting team, Finance and Logistics team to fix
